About Meaty Eats
What seems like yesterday, 25 years ago, Joanne and Osvaldo Girimonte started out in business with a belief that access to reliable, healthy, great tasting, food was a basic human right and not a privilege. Many years later that dream has become reality via the launch of Meaty Eats.
A direct subsidiary of Meaty Meats Inc. Meaty Eats is a direct to market (retail) store, which offers ready to eat, and ready to cook Natural meat products as well as a whole host of other complimentary products. Meaty Eats also currently holds the world wide exclusive on Meaty Meats’ delectable and unique Natural meat product line.
Meaty Eats was founded with the mission to "Make this World a Better Place: One Meal at a Time". The retail outfit seeks to achieve this mission in all its actions and decisions as a company;
- Choosing to use local ingredients in all their prepared dishes, and products.
- Taking positive steps to maintain the integrity our food supply via decisions such as choosing 'slow food preparation', rather than time saving, cover up measures such as microwaves, or deep fryers.
- Choosing to create products made solely from meats, which are free of hormones, anti biotics, and animal by products, grown by small Canadian Family Farms.
- Choosing to use whole ingredients and fresh inputs in their products.
- Choosing to continually monitor its green footprint, by using bio degradable packaging/bags, and other earth friendly techniques in food preparation/retailing.
- Choosing to give back to its local community, as much as possible, via the sponsorship of community groups, schools, charities, local youth groups, and sports teams
